Taking Care of Your Vascular Health

VasCare is a patient-first, outpatient interventional radiology vascular practice offering minimally invasive treatment for peripheral artery disease (PAD), venous disease, uterine fibroids, and more.

We welcome patients from across the Coastal Bend and Rio Grande Valley regions and the greater Gulf Coast at our two locations in Beaumont and Corpus Christi.

Saving Limbs, Saving Lives

At VasCare, we’re on a mission to keep Texans healthy and whole. Instead of sitting back and waiting for patients to come to us, we’re taking the fight to vascular disease by:

Providing artery revascularization treatment by one of the most highly respected practitioners in the country, to increase blood flow and save limbs in an area (Nueces County and the Rio Grande Valley) that leads the entire country in leg amputation rates.
Collaborating with podiatrists, wound care physicians, PCPs, and other medical professionals to develop comprehensive care protocols.
Promoting early detection and thorough follow-up care in our communities, to catch PAD and critical limb ischemia before they progress and to make sure patients don’t get lost or regress after treatment.

We understand that trust is earned.

We hope that you’ll discover for yourself that VasCare is a place where your health is truly prioritized and safe-guarded.

Like so many other people I suffer from a type of diabetes. It has resulted in me getting infections into my toes. And I went to see Dr. Lee here. He has done work that has done a significant improvement. My visits here, he and his staff have been very good. I can highly recommend them.

“I can highly recommend them, both Dr. Lee and his staff.”

Before it was like tired legs. You know, different things. But now I just feel so much better. It’s been five years now that I’ve been coming through VasCare and every time I come here, it’s always, always, I feel, comfortable. Dr. Lee does his job very professionally. I would like to add that his staff is amazing. From the minute you check in, they make you so comfortable in the office. It’s almost like they’re family.

Every time I come here, it’s always comfortable.

What to Expect During Your Visit

When you visit VasCare, you can rely on us to provide you with treatment options that are minimally invasive, rather than major surgery modalities, for addressing your vascular disease.

Techniques such as X-ray fluoroscopy, radiofrequency, ultrasound, and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) allow for smaller surgery sites, thus little pain, faster healing, faster recovery, lower incidence of complications, and all-around better outcomes.

In fact, we will do our best to return you to wellness with no medical interventions at all, if possible. A wide range of vein diseases such as spider veins, varicose veins, and venous ulcers, as well as peripheral arterial disease (PAD) can sometimes be treated by conservative therapy or simply lifestyle changes.

If you’re a first-time visitor, the doctor will go over your medical history and ask you about the problems you’re experiencing. He will also examine you, so it’s helpful to wear loose fitting clothing to make this easier. You may need to have one or more diagnostic tests, as well.

The doctor will then discuss his treatment recommendations with you, including what you can expect during and after the selected procedure (if applicable), and answer any questions you have. The front desk will then get you scheduled for a follow-up visit, whether it’s to have your procedure done or to check on your progress.
